About Marion Minor, President, M2MEDIA360
Marion Minor began her career working in the information services field with a company specializing in feature advertising tracking, which was acquired by A.C. Nielsen in 1986. She then managed the client information teams for California wineries, including E & J Gallo, along with traditional packaged goods manufacturers, such as Clorox, Dial, and Nestle Beverage.
Armed with her expertise in syndicated research for the adult beverage industry, Minor became managing partner of Adams Business Media’s eight-year joint venture with A.C. Nielsen, which successfully expanded the reach of business information services. Through this association with Adams, Minor began managing its adult beverage publications and resource guides, which she acquired along with a merchandising intelligence service in 2002. JQ International magazine, along with several other titles, were acquired in July 2005.
Minor is an active member of American Business Media, serving on its board of directors and leading its regional meeting initiative in Northern California. She is also the recipient of American Business Media’s 2009 Gertrude Crain honor recognizing remarkable women in business-to-business media, marketing, and advertising, and was named “Who’s Who In Business Publishing” in 2008 by BtoB Media Business magazine.
