Alexandra Hart Comes To AGTA

Tucson, AZ – December 18, 2009 –Award-winning and socially responsible San Diego designer goldsmith Alexandra Hart will be exhibiting for the first time in the Spectrum of Design pavilion at the Tucson AGTA show February 2 -7, 2010. Hart’s couture jewelry and metal sculpture are known for their sophisticated and artful design. Since 1995, when she started her business, Hart has pursued ethical practices in all her work.

“It has always been one of my greatest concerns to create work which adds value or contributes to the world, and does no harm,” says Hart. “My designs capture the bold strength and beauty of nature and therefore I’ve always felt it was important to produce these designs in a fashion that celebrates that beauty and strength.”

Alexandra Hart creates one of a kind and limited edition jewelry in dramatic sculptural forms. Her pieces are alluring, but defensive, and demonstrate an ongoing exploration into abstract natural forms. With professional experience designing Karl Lagerfeld and Givenchy fashion jewelry, Alexandra Hart has received international attention for her custom made, high end designs.

Hart’s work meets at a rare intersection of superior service to the retailer with catered price points for designer goods, excellent craftsmanship, and ethical practices. She designs her work for today’s highly competitive, high standards environment.

Hart supports underdeveloped countries by buying only ethically sourced diamonds. She purchases her gems only from the most reputable and conscientious companies. She uses only 100% recycled metals.

Her work has won the Centurion Emerging Designer Award and was chosen by the World Gold Council’s for their recent international advertising campaign.

Hart’s designs can be viewed in booth 3418 in the AGTA Spectrum of Design February 2-7th in Tucson, AZ.
